Children’s Fares

Ages 0-15 | Boston Service  *Does not include New York City service policies or large school/camp group policies*.

• One (1) child aged 0-15 rides free per full-fare adult ticket (no discounted adult tickets).
• Additional children are 50% of a full-fare adult ticket (limit of 2).
• Additional children are the full adult fare.
• Children age 12-15 who travel alone in accordance with the Unaccompanied Children policy pay the adult fare.
• * Large School/Camp Groups – Contact the Information Center for pricing and policies.

• One (1) child up to the age of 15 will ride for 1/2 of the adult fare* per full-paying adult ticket (one-way and round-trip).
• Any additional children pay the full published adult rate.
• Children under 16 are not permitted to travel alone.
